The Maplewood Inn has had a face lift this summer. These are a few pictures of the job.
Daniel back nailing and replacing the sheathing on the third story flat roof.
A view of the exposed rafters after the trim was removed
The Flat roof on the third floor received a new rubber membrane with new flashing for the chimney and an attic fan to vent the flat surface.
Joshua tearing out the built-in gutter system with its many layers of metal and tar. The trim and framing was replaced around the entire house.
The new copper is slightly pitched to eliminate the old gutter detail and the potential problems of ice jambs in the winter.
