Simplistic Elegance

The renovation of a 1796 Colonial bathroom required extensive framing inside the existing walls and floor to accommodate dead loads and adequate insulation.
A 24" wide Eastern White Pine sheathing board is reclaimed to add a simple old charm feeling to the room. The floors, also of reclaimed material removed originally from the ceiling, were sanded and finished to look 200 years old.
A European Shower valve is the center piece of the room truly a beautiful asset.
